This beautiful beachfront vacation home is situated in Akumal, sixty miles to the south of Cancun Airport. Lying on an impressive rocky coast, and just a three minute stroll from the fabulous beach of Akumal Bay this really is a perfect location. It has four thousand square feet of living space, four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. There are many amenities in Akumal Bay, such as restaurants, a couple of small grocery stores, dive shops, an Internet café, a bureau de change, attractive boutiques and a kid’s club. As you approach the villa along the driveway with private parking you will be struck by the spectacular colors of the bougainvilleas which grow up the side of the house next to the swimming pool.  The beauty of these flowers enhances the charm of the large twenty-one square foot pool. In the area around the pool there is more than enough seating for the entire family, as well as a table and hammock beneath a palapa. There are also speakers outside so that you can relax to your favorite tunes.  

Not far from the pool you have an outside grill and fryer, just in case you are in the mood for barbequing.  If you would rather relax and forget about cooking for a while, you can always arrange to have delicious dishes prepared for you by our caretaker, who is also a wonderful cook. He is available to make breakfast and dinner, assisted in serving meals by his adorable wife. Leaving the pool you enter into the joined living and dining spaces which enjoy vistas of the Caribbean. From here you can step through the French doors straight onto the beach and into the sea breezes.  There you will find a spacious pergola, where you can sway in hammocks and listen to the sea. Back indoors there is a large, totally equipped kitchen which even has a dishwasher, a breakfast bar with stools, Internet, fax and printer. In the large pantry there is a sizeable safe for your valuables and there is a half bathroom between the kitchen and the French doors.  Next to the kitchen is a comfortable entertainment area with air-conditioning, sea views, satellite TV, DVD player, stereo, movies and CDs.

The guest bedroom downstairs has a king-size bed, wonderful views of the ocean, a private patio and its own bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. One is a children’s room with two double beds, a single bed, a private bathroom with a large shower, children’s decorations and skylights. The other two bedrooms upstairs are accessed from the pretty terrace that enjoys views of the pool and the jungle. It is a wonderful place to relax in the comfortable chairs or built-in sofa, while marveling at the gorgeous sunsets above the lush jungle. The master bedroom is large and has an exquisite brick-domed ceiling, a king bed, a sofa, an expansive balcony with hammocks and lovely ocean views, surround sound and an enormous bathroom with shower.  

The other bedroom also has a king bed, a spacious balcony with gorgeous sea views and its own bathroom with shower and skylights. Every bedroom is large, air-conditioned, has ceiling fans and its own balcony with fabulous ocean views. As if all this were not enough, there is also an observatory on the rooftop with comfortable seating. It is the ideal spot to take in the fabulous sunrises over the shining aquamarine sea. The views are unbeatable. The panoramic vista takes in the ocean on one side, Akumal Bay on another, Half Moon Bay on another and finally the beautiful lush jungle to the west.
