Casa Jaguar has one of the best sea views in Akumal and is actually two stacked condominiums facing east on Half Moon Bay's north point. Water is literally on three sides; being Half Moon Bay, the Caribbean, and the inlet to Yal ku lagoon. This is a house/condo for ocean lovers who love to watch the waves roll in. The owners cleverly took full advantage of this unique point of view by wrapping glass around the corners of each living room to provide a panoramic view that almost makes you feel like you're outside. If that's not enough, you can always go outside to the ocean side swimming pool or up to the rooftop observation deck and enjoy a really fabulous view. With a virtually constant sea breeze and man-made beach in front (just off the pool) Casa Jaguar delivers on tropical ambiance in a big way. Creature comforts include air conditioned ocean view living room, dining room, full kitchen and two bedrooms in each condo. The master has a king bed and the second bedroom has two double beds. All have private bathrooms with stall shower. Furnishings are generally done in bright tropical colors with white walls to bounce around the ambient light. Each condo is fully air conditioned but you may find the sea breeze alone is enough to keep you comfortably cool. It's easy to relax here in any number of places, be it the rooftop deck, pool or sandy man-made beach area. Sliders open from the bottom condo to the pool deck where there is a table and chairs with umbrella, several chaise lounges and access to the pool and beach. A grassy area is easy on the feet between the pool and sand. In my humble opinion probably the best way to fully enjoy this wonderful property is to get some good friends together and rent the whole place. This is the first time (winter 2006) Casa Jaguar has been offered as a rental because the owners have had too much fun enjoying it themselves. The design is perfect for providing plenty of privacy for up to twelve people (6 in each condo), but to fully enjoy the pool and rooftop it is advantageous to be acquainted with the other occupants.
