Villa Palmilla is a beautiful vacation home lying on an exquisite beach in Jade Bay. You couldn’t ask for more than this stunning residence to ensure that you have the perfect vacation experience on the Mayan Riviera. Amazing attention to detail has gone into the building and furnishing of this beachfront holiday home. The approach to the house leads you through a lush tropical garden and along a path up to the main entrance. You’ll pass a small rock pool in the midst of plants and palm trees, and you’ll hear the soothing trickle of water from the two fountains which run into the aqua pool. If you think this sounds nice, well just wait, it only gets better! As soon as you open the huge mahogany front door and survey the enormous living space you will appreciate at once the taste and elegance of this holiday home. To your right you will see the kitchen, fully stocked and featuring a walk-in pantry. You will also see the countertops made from black granite, a refrigerator and a separate freezer, and a superb double oven.  There is also a bar with three elegant wicker stools and a wine chiller built in – it is refrigerated and custom made. The dining table is made from Chechen, a beautiful local wood from the self-same Yucatan Peninsula, and can seat eight.

To the other side of the entrance is a living space boasting furniture that is both elegant and comfortable. There is also satellite TV, a DVD player, a VCR, and a CD player with five disc capability. From this large space, which runs into the dining area and kitchen, you can enjoy fabulous views of the large swimming pool and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean through two huge glass walls which go from ceiling to floor. The pool has a lap section.  The patio area in the ‘back yard’ is also a delight.  Alongside the pool are plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and ‘sombrillas’ – umbrellas for shade. If you feel like a little siesta in the shade and under a ceiling fan both the upstairs balcony and downstairs terrace have more than enough comfortable furniture. The final touch for a relaxing ambience is provided by the surround sound speakers, which have been installed in the downstairs terrace area. Sip a cool cocktail by the pool while you listen to the tunes of your choice! The elegant stairway is made of wrought iron and mahogany, and once you are upstairs you will find yourself in a remarkable marble hallway looking out to the front garden through a series of decorative windows. These exquisite windows, and all the other windows in this elegant vacation villa, are from Germany, and are the very best as far as security and keeping out the weather are concerned. This upstairs hallway leads to the three bedrooms. They are all generously spacious, each having its own sitting area and private bathroom. The linen is of the highest quality.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and enjoys wonderful ocean views from its beautiful balcony. Should you wish to do a bit of star-gazing there is a high-powered telescope. This gorgeous beachfront property also boasts some amazing artwork. The impressive zebras in the master bedroom are remarkably life-like. You will be able to see the other exquisite works of art when you get here! From the fantastic sunken spa tub in the master suite you can gaze out to the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean Sea.  The second bedroom suite has a king size bed, and enjoys the same fabulous ocean views and gorgeous balcony as the master bedroom suite. The third suite differs slightly in that it has two twin beds which can easily be converted into a king size bed. It has its own balcony and gorgeous ocean vistas, not to mention satellite TV. Every bathroom boasts marble surfaces, every showerhead, both indoors and out, hails from Italy, and every bedroom has a safe for your valuables.

Downstairs there is another room which combines the functions of a TV room and office. It has satellite TV, two desks for computers, and a large, luxurious suede couch which can be made into a double bed. A few steps through the French patio doors and you reach the lap section of the pool, a real plus for those who take their swimming seriously. Next door to this ‘extra’ room is a well-equipped bathroom with shower. Without seeing this wonderful vacation home it is difficult to imagine all the little details that go into making it truly one of a kind. The owners of this beautiful beachfront property constructed this residence for themselves, making sure that attention was paid to every last detail and that only the very best furnishings and materials were used.
