To the north of Playa del Carmen on the beautiful Riviera Maya you will find the resplendent bay of Jade Beach.  The bay’s crescent-shaped beach and white coral sand is similar to that at Akumal Bay, just a leisurely stroll away.  There are not many villas on Jade Beach, but Villa Margarita is one of them.  Despite the top-class security and privacy of this exclusive holiday home it is just a few minutes from restaurants, shops, snorkeling and recreational activities. This luxurious vacation villa can welcome up to ten guests in its 3,500 square feet of space, and six days out of seven it has full maid service and a gardener. Every day, except for weekends, continental breakfasts are prepared for you. There are four spacious bedrooms, all with air-conditioning, three are upstairs and one is downstairs.  Each has its own bathroom, decorated in its own inimitable way, and patio with views of the ocean.  Each balcony of this exquisite holiday home offers views of the beautiful Caribbean Sea and enjoyment of the refreshing sea breezes. There will be no fighting over who gets the best room in this vacation home, everyone gets a master bedroom! There are regular king size beds in three of the bedrooms and in the other a king size which can be made into two twin beds.  Upstairs there is a room with satellite TV, DVD and VCR player, and air conditioning. There are also two futon sofa beds, a shared bathroom and a balcony with views of the jungle and nearby Akumal.

Downstairs looking out to the ocean are the living room and dining room, where large sliding French doors lead to the gorgeous pool and the delight of the Caribbean just a few more steps away. Separating the kitchen from the dining area is a sit-up bar facing the ocean. The entrance hall is two steps up and resplendent in the natural light shining in from its cupola.  Gazing up from downstairs you will see past the oval aperture in the ceiling, past the iron railing on the second floor and up to the top ceiling with its domed brick, light-spreading cupola. There are ceiling fans throughout this oceanfront property. From the entrance area you pass into the modern and completely equipped kitchen, which looks out over the bar and through the dining room to the swimming pool and beyond that to the ocean - an ideal place to cook up a meal or to mix a cocktail for ‘hora feliz’ by the pool. Should you prefer a bit of barbecuing, next to the front entrance there is a propane barbecue, exterior kitchen and wet bar.  Passing through the entrance area you find the half bathroom and the entrance to the downstairs bedroom. The villa is furnished with Mexican and colorful Caribbean style fabrics. Moving through the living and dining rooms you find yourself in the covered patio and alongside the scrumptious pool that is safe for both children and adults.

There is a telephone in the house, so if you need to call home at any time it is a simple matter of popping into town and getting a calling card.  If you happen to need high speed Internet you can find it in Akumal - just a mile’s stroll away along the beach. Picture yourself relaxing in a hammock under a palapa next to the beach or in a lounge chair next to the pool, looking out to the aquamarine sea and feeling the gentle coolness of the ocean breeze and hearing the soft movement of the coconut leaves above.  Explore the bay in one of the villa’s kayaks or try some scuba-diving, snorkeling or a guided fishing trip. It doesn’t get much better than this.  Meanwhile , higher up, on the rooftop of this charming vacation home you will find an ideal place for sunbathing in the afternoon,  sipping a cocktail in the evening, or contemplating the stars at night - or even spending the whole night under them! The spiral staircase leads to the all-seeing rooftop from where you can enjoy fabulous panoramic views of the jungle and ocean lying in every direction. From Monday through Friday continental breakfast are served by the maid – cereal, toast, sweet rolls, butter and jam, and coffee.  She is a also a great cook and a home- made Mexican meal can be requested with at least forty-eight hours notice.   If you have a reservation of seven days or more you can also request a complimentary meal – again with forty-eight hours notice.
