This exquisite 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath vacation villa is situated on the edge of the Yalku Lagoon in the heart of the Mayan Riviera. The interior of Villa Caleta is as exotic and beautiful as the tropical forest that surrounds the villa but, as in nature, there is also a subtle and quiet opulence where everything is in harmony. The use of all natural  materials such as stone, marble and wood, is tastefully accented by touches of tropical color in the artwork, to create a refreshing openness and relaxing atmosphere in this contemporary Mexican Hacienda-style villa. The main entrance of the villa opens onto one side of the very spacious living area which extends through to a large outdoor patio on the other side, near the beautiful swimming pool.

These areas are perfect spaces for entertaining, and also include a comfortable lounge area on one side with a TV and stereo system which is ideal for children to enjoy as well. Adjacent to the spacious lounge is the lovely dining room with a table and seating accommodating up to 12 guests, and of course a modern, fully equipped kitchen with state of the art appliances including a dishwasher. A unique and impressive feature of this luxury villa is the air-conditioned hallway leading to the bedrooms. The floor-to-ceiling glass walls allow you to enjoy the lush greenery of the landscaped gardens keeping you in contact with the splendor of nature. Each bedroom and the luxurious bathrooms are all air-conditioned. Three of the four bathrooms have an indoor shower as well as a creatively designed outdoor shower that provides a wonderfully tropical experience! All bathrooms have magnificent opaque glass doors and walls tastefully decorated ensuring comfort and privacy. The fixtures imported from Germany, combined with ornate raised sinks and attractive surfaces all made of local stone are some of the examples of the detailed finishes throughout Villa Caleta.

The first bedroom has 2 double beds and a comfortably furnished reading area, along with a bathroom with shower and a large indoor bathtub. The second bedroom has a king –size bed, reading area, ensuite bathroom with shower as well as an outdoor tub/shower. The third bedroom,  perfect for children, offers 6 single beds and 2 doubles, four of which are bunk beds with ladders. This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower. The fourth bedroom provides 2 queen–size beds and 2 single beds, an ensuite bathroom with shower and outdoor shower tub/shower. All 4 bedrooms include very ample closet space where all shelving and doors are made from native Salom wood.  

The best feature of Casa Caleta is the serenity that only the pristine wilderness of Laguna Yalku can provide. Directly across the 11 'x 30' pool in the garden is a private  boardwalk leading to the lake, which passes through the natural private park where you will see cenotes, or small freshwater ponds which are actually openings to subterranean cave systems. The natural beauty of the Yucatan surrounds Villa Caleta, combines perfectly with all the luxurious interior amenities and includes a service staff who will ensure that your vacation is absolutely unsurpassed.
