Meanwhile there is a fabulous deck/terrace off the bedrooms which is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a few drinks in the open air. The pool area is another space where you can lie back, sip a cool drink and enjoy the ample seating, lounge chairs, patio area, gardens, and views of the ocean.

The nearby attractions and activities cap it all off.  Whether you want elegant shops, attractive restaurants, great bars and clubs, or just a vibrant place for a walk around town, Playa del Carmen has it all.  It is a perfect blend of tranquility and things to do.  Just a ferry ride away is the exquisite island resort of Cozumel, ideal for a day trip.  Meanwhile the tourist Mecca of Cancun is just forty miles up the road and the fascinating Mayan archeological site of Tulum, nestled above the beach, is a mere forty miles in the other direction.  A little further afield you can find the amazing Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza and Coba.  That’s not all; just a couple of miles down the road from your vacation condo is the wonderful eco-theme park of Xcaret, with all its tropical nature and ancient Mexican history.  Just check it out on Google to see what a dream of a day trip it is, and it’s just there on your doorstep.

As far as activities are concerned we have all you would expect from a beautiful tropical destination; snorkeling, scuba diving, boat rentals, fishing trips, and even diving and swimming in the alluring waters of caverns called ‘cenotes’.  More relaxing, land-based activities include yoga, spa treatments, golf, Spanish lessons, and you can even visit bird sanctuaries and crocodile farms.
